A career in marketing communications - working in telecoms, IT software and business organisations - has given me great experience, including planning and implementing advertising campaigns, organising exhibitions, corporate hospitality and networking events, producing newsletters and promotional literature, and writing masses of news releases. Looking for more flexibility in my working life, I began trading as The SmartDesk 10 years ago. I particularly enjoy working with small businesses, helping to raise their media profiles using news stories, social media, websites and sales/marketing literature.
In my spare time I'm part of the Royal Wootton Bassett Town Team, and provide PR and social media support for local organisations, helping to actively promote the many benefits which our High Street has to offer. When I'm not doing any of the above, I paint portraits with my local Arts Society and keep fit with Pilates and the gym.
